At the festival ground organized specially for traditional Topkapı Palace conquest celebration and Palace Festivals, Mehter Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism gave a concert. Also, the Archery and Horseback Riding Club made a show at the Sultan Murad IV' training ground
Within the events of the Museums' Week, Mehter concert performed by the Metheran Division of Harbiye Military Museum has been watched by visitors with a great appreciation. Concert has been started from the First Courtyard of the Palace and continued in front of the Gate of Felicity in the Second Courtyard of the Topkapı Palace Museum. Concert was started at 11:00 AM. at the date May 20th Wednesday 2015.
Turkish coffee culture and tradition was entered to the UNESCO "Non-Material Heritage" list at the year 2013. Due to this, the exhibition: "A Drop of Pleasure: 500 years of Turkish Coffee" have been organized with the cooperation of Topkapı Palace Museum and Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association. Exhibition can be visited until June 15th 2015
Within the scope of events of Blessed Birth Week, the exhibition: "Love for Prophet: Prophet at his birth's 1443th Anniversary" will be on display at the dates between April 9th - July 15th 2014 at the Topkapı Palace Treasury Ward with the cooperation of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Presidency of Religious Affairs.
Haluk Dursun president of the Topkapı Palace Museum told in his written declaration that Palace is working for projecting past's beauties to present and providing their continuation. Within this scope, he told that Palace is working on traditional landscape adjustment by seeding more than 100 thousand hyacinth to the Enderun courtyard.

Five of China’s famous terracotta sculptures, which belong to UNESCO’s World Heritage List, are on display at an exhibition titled “Chinese Treasures,” which opened Nov. 21 at Istanbul’s Topkapı Palace Museum. According to Chinese law, bringing more than five terracotta soldiers out of the country is prohibited.
The Exhibition:“Majesty and Grace: Korean Art” will be on display between the dates 18th June and 29th September in 2013 at The Privy Stables of The Topkapi Palace Museum. The Exhibition is being jointly organized by the Korean Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry, the Korean National Museum and the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry.
Istanbul’s Topkapı Museum is commemorating Sultan Bayezıd II on the 500th anniversary of his death with a temporary exhibition featuring many accessories and clothes of Bayezıd, chosen from the Topkapı Museum inventory and collection exclusively.
The exhibition will continue until Jan. 28.
“Sultan Bayezıd II was seen as the protector by society. However, his fame has been forgotten as his father, Fatih Sultan Mehmed, and his son Sultan Selim Han-ı Evvel were very famous and successful,” Topkapi Palace Museum manager Haluk Dursun said at the exhibit opening.
